Food as Medicine

Nutrition is an important part of our health. At a very basic level, food provides fuel for our body - what we eat determines the quality of this fuel, and the way our body functions as a result. Evolution has seen us come a long way in a short space of time when it comes to diet. We have so many choices available to us it can become overwhelming trying to identify what we should, and shouldn’t, be eating. Sometimes we think we are making healthy choices, but we aren’t. Other times we know we aren’t, but we want to. Learning about food is one of the most empowering and life-changing things you can do to take control of your health.

Food is medicine.

Coming back to eating whole-foods and learning to nourish ourselves with what we eat, means we can improve how our body functions, how we feel, and how much energy we have to get through the day. Many of the health conditions and diseases that affect us in the western world, are driven by our diet and lifestyle. Simple changes to our relationship with food can prevent and improve many of the chronic diseases affecting people today.
