It’s like we’re on call 24/7 and have moved far away from having time to process our thoughts and emotions, let alone give ourselves the space to nourish. Fast-food, and prepackaged ‘convenience’ options are waiting on every corner, and making healthy decisions can feel overwhelming when there’s so much choice.
But we can learn. It’s important. It’s important for our own health, but also for the health of those around us. And the more we support ourselves, the more we begin supporting our communities, our environment, our loved ones, and our world. Nourishing ourselves is about coming back to basics. It’s about learning new ways of listening to our body and new tools to support it and help it heal. It’s about finding new ways of thinking that not only inspire us to make change, but inspire us to show up for ourselves - every single day. In many ways our ‘health’ is a reflection of the relationship we create with ourselves - and it’s in constant motion, so we can jump on board at any time.
